Isn’t always the friend of a friend who puts you in touch with a new friend, and that connection helps set up those seemingly small things that end up reorienting your life? “Janice, Please Don’t” turned out to be one of those things.

How far does potty humor go in the corporate work place? And what is fair, in coffee breaks and getting some freaking privacy?

As someone who said “restroom” instead of “potty” at the big age of two, talking bathroom politics was a hoot. Frankly, also a growth opportunity.

The greatest gift of it all, though, was crossing paths with Serra Naiman, John Lawrence Clarke, Matt Richards, Mirabel Miscala, and Garrett Ryan. It was my first role since the pandemic, and watching them make inspired choices helped me feel like less of a noob.
