Thin Blue Line (2024)

Matt Richards, more than anyone I know, is someone who needs to create, and what he creates is uniquely funny, dark, off the cuff, and seeped in spontaneity. I’ll get a call on Tuesday for a shoot the next day, and we’ll get it all in one afternoon. I love the way his brain works, and Thin Blue Line is a perfect example of the quick twists and turns his work challenges you to take.

It was extra fun to work with another writer, artist, & SF Neo Futurist Sam Bertken, and if you ever get a chance to see him, please run don’t walk. He wrote one of the funniest two minute plays I’ve ever seen.

Bits and jabs were flying, I was fighting for my life, and it was the best.
